Each suit has 13 cards, ranked in the following order:

A – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 9 – 10 – J – Q – K

The Ace (A) can be used as 1 or as the highest card after King.

2. Impure Sequence

An impure sequence is a consecutive order of cards where a joker replaces a missing card.

Sets in Rummy and Their Order

A set is a group of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. Jokers can be used to complete a set.

Examples:

Unlike sequences, the order in a set does not matter, as long as all cards are of the same rank.
